ONE THOUSAND FREAKING PUZZLES!!! I just got it in the mail ITS SO BIG AND PERCENT OH MY GOD IM SO HAPPY! THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!
I bought it for my mother who is in a nursing home she likes to do the puzzles and always runs out I ordered it not realizing how big and thick it was when she told me I thought that was a bad thing but she was so happy about it she said she will never run out and the letters are very big and see the letters very well I definitely recommend this book. Making Grandma happy it's always a wonderful thing.
My daughter gets me word search books but they usually only have 100 or so... I finish them in a week.... I needed something that would take me more time then a week to finish off...So I purchased this book with a whole 1000 word searches... I love it... I am looking forward to Volume 2 as a gift or will purchase another one from this publisher on my own.... I am 62 so the print for me is fine..If you find the book is too heavy for you, I say take the pages out as you go, although I haven't had to..You will have hours upon hours days upon days of word searches... I totally recommend 100 percent for those who love to do Word Searches...
So, I am a word search fiend. LOVE THEM. I was blown away when I stumbled upon this on Amazon. It seemed too good to be true! So, of course I immediately ordered it. I got it yesterday and have already completed several of the puzzles. I always use a highlighter to complete my word searches so when I saw that the highlighter didn't bleed through the pages onto the next puzzle I was beyond THRILLED! I always have to throw away the cheaper books with half of the puzzles not completed because it is too hard to see the letters on the next page. The only issue I have with this product is that instead of having a common theme there are just a bunch of random words for each puzzle. I really enjoy puzzles where all the words follow a common theme for that specific puzzle. It also seems as though the puzzles in the first few pages are for beginners as all the words are seemingly going in the same direction. It isn't until a couple pages in that the words start over lapping and going diagonal.
Has enough puzzles that will keep you busy for the next 20 years. Book os very thick and solid yet easy to read and maneuver
Nice big puzzles with well over two dozen clues each. Although not subject-related word groupings like most word searches, these are challenging and fun. Easy to read, two puzzles per page. FYI: The first two puzzles were WAY too easy (almost all horizontal solutions), but they got normal after that. I'm glad I was patient enough to go to the third one. I was thinking the whole book was that way, which would have been terrible. This is a HUGE book, see the photo I included. Overall, I am extremely glad that I bought this book. I look forward to the subsequent volumes!
I purchased this for my mother, among several other search-a-word books, for Christmas. She raved about this book for months while she did the puzzles. She loved every one of them, especially that the words appeared on the same page as the puzzle itself and that there were two per page. She would often tear out pages to take with her in case she needed a distraction, but always returned them to the book so she could get the "full effect" of having finished this many puzzles. Can't wait to give her the sequel this year. She'll be in puzzle heaven. Thank you!
This word search book is perfect! Its actually challenging, made by a small mom and pop company which I'm happy to support for their great quality and quick shipping of the book! My only suggestion for the company is maybe make a version where each word search has a different theme. I wasn't sure why it hadn't occurred to me just how big the book would actually be but it's about the size of a standard textbook, although not nearly as heavy as one. But you are getting you full moneys worth for 1,000 wood searches. One of the best purchases I've made on amazon!
